School Council 2024-2025

We are excited to announce the commencement of the School Council 2024-2025!

Today, we held our first meeting with our newly elected student representatives. The council is ready to work collaboratively to bring fresh ideas and initiatives to enhance our school community.

Stay tuned for updates on their projects and contributions throughout the year!

We're going to win the league!

As part of a league that has been established across the West Midlands for PRUs and Special Schools, KS3 pupils took part in their first competitive football match against Woodlands School. It was a bit of a shaky start, with New Leaf finding themselves 4-0 down after 10 minutes. Despite this early set back, the team pulled themselves together grabbing victory from the jaws of defeat with a last minute goal, winning 10-9. Well done to all the players who conducted themselves well, demonstrating teamwork and resilience. Thanks to Mr Lea for the preparation of the team.

5-a-side football v Woodbury School

New Leaf pupils travelled to The Way in Wolverhampton for their first competitive 5 a-side football match. The game was really competitive but played in a good spirit. In a close and high scoring match, New Leaf ran out winner 8-6. Well done to all involved!

Macmillan Coffee Afternoon and Open Day - £140 raised

Friday 27th September saw New Leaf Inclusion Centre host a Macmillan Coffee Afternoon and Open Day. It was an opportunity to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support as well as showcasing the fantastic work that staff and pupils do on a daily basis. We were pleased to welcome parents, carers and families of our pupils, as well as Local Authority officers and governors of the school, who all had the opportunity to engage with staff and pupils, as well as taste some of the fabulous creations made by the pupils during the week.
